Greetings Friends.

We mourn the loss of our dear husband, father and friend Homer Ledford who went to be with his savior on Monday, December 11, 2006.  We will be changing the scope of this web site from one that promoted Homer Ledford and the Cabin Creek Band to historical and archival information about Homer Ledford, his days with the Cabin Creek Band, and his wonderful instruments, so please check in often as changes are made.

“Homer Ledford was a Kentucky icon whose music touched not only Kentuckians, but music lovers across America and around the world. His talent was displayed not only in the music he loved to play, but also in the instruments he artfully crafted. His talent and craftsmanship were unique and unmatched. Glenna and I share in the sadness our Commonwealth feels today over the loss of one of Kentucky’s finest.”
